-U1RNP

-SS-A/Ro -Sjögren's syndrome (pronounced /ˈʃoʊɡrənz/) (also known as "Mikulicz disease," and "Sicca syndrome"[1]) is an autoimmune disorder in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands[2] that produce tears and saliva.

-SS-B/La- Autoantibodies from systemic rheumatic disorders have becomeuseful reagents in molecular biology. SS-B/La, a major targetof autoantibodies in lupus and Sjogren's syndrome, has beenidentified as a 46 kDa protein component of a ribonucleoprotein(RNP) particle implicated in the maturation of RNA polymeraseIII transcripts.

-Centromere B-Centromere protein B is an autoantigen protein of the cell nucleus. A mutation in this gene can result in a greater chance of having lung cancer.

-Scl-70-lupus, scleroderma or other rheumatic disease.
-Jo-1-Anti-Jo1 is an antibody.[1][2] More specifically, it is an anti-nuclear antibody.
Inflammatory myopathy is a form of myopathy that can be associated with the anti-nuclear antibody Jo-1.[1] It encompasses three related diseases: polymyositis, dermatomyositis, and inclusion-body myositis.
-Sm-Sm proteins, snRNPs, the spliceosome and messenger RNA splicing

Research continued during the 1970s and early 1980s. The smith antigen was found to be a complex of ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecules and multiple proteins. A set of uridine-rich small nuclear RNA (snRNA) molecules was part of this complex, and given the names U1, U2, U4, U5 and U6. Four of these snRNAs (U1, U2, U4 and U5) were found to be tightly bound to several small proteins, which were named SmB, SmD, SmE, SmF, and SmG in decreasing order of size. SmB has an alternatively spliced variant, SmB', and a very similar protein, SmN
replaces SmB'/B in certain (mostly neural) tissues. SmD was later
discovered to be a mixture of three proteins, which were named SmD1, SmD2 and SmD3. These nine proteins (SmB, SmB', SmN, SmD1, SmD2, SmD3, SmE, SmF and SmG) became known as the Sm core proteins, or simply Sm proteins. The snRNAs are complexed with the Sm core proteins and with other proteins to form particles in the cell's nucleus called small nuclear ribonucleoproteins, or snRNPs. By the mid 1980s, it became clear that these snRNPs help form a large (4.8 MD molecular weight) complex, called the spliceosome, around pre-mRNA, excising portions of the pre-mRNA called introns and splicing the coding portions (exons) together.[2] After a few more modifications, the spliced pre-mRNA becomes messenger RNA (mRNA) which is then exported from the nucleus and translated into a protein by ribosomes.

Anti-nuclear antibody

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Anti-nuclear antibodies (ANAs, also known as anti-nuclear factor or ANF) are antibodies directed against contents of the cell nucleus.[1]
They are present in higher than normal numbers in autoimmune
disease. The ANA test measures the pattern and amount of autoantibody
which can attack the body's tissues as if they were foreign material.
Autoantibodies are present in low titers
in the general population, but in about 5% of the population, their
concentration is increased, and about half of this 5% have an autoimmune disease.

[edit] ANA test

One can check for the presence of ANAs in blood serum by means of a
laboratory test. There are also additional tests that allow one to test
for individual ANAs. The general ANA test is usually one of two types:
indirect immunofluorescence or ELISA.
The indirect immunofluoresence is considered to be the more accurate of
the two, but the ELISA version is gaining popularity because of its
lower cost.
[edit] Associated diseases

The normal titer of ANA is 1:40 or less. Higher titers are
indicative of an autoimmune disease. The presence of ANA is indicative
of lupus erythematosus (present in 80-90% of cases), though they also appear in some other auto-immune diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome (60%), rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune hepatitis, scleroderma and polymyositis & dermatomyositis (30%), and various non-rheumatological conditions associated with tissue damage. ANA are also directed to the nuclear pore complex in primary biliary cirrhosis. Other conditions with high ANA titre include Addison disease, Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), Hashimoto's, Autoimmune hemolytic anemia, Type I diabetes mellitus, Mixed connective tissue disorder.
[edit] Sensitivity

The following table list the sensitivity
of different types of ANAs for different diseases, in this case what
percentage of those with the disease have the ANA. Some ANAs appear in
several types of disease, resulting in lower specificity of the test.

[edit] ANA classification

Following detection of a high titer of ANAs (e.g. 1:160), various subtypes are determined.[3] This is typically done on cells of the HEp-2 cell line. Examples include:

  • Anti-ENA (Extractable nuclear antigen)

    • Anti-Ro (SS-A)
    • Anti-La (SS-B)
    • Anti-Sm (Smith antigen)
    • Anti-nRNP (nuclear ribonucleoproteins)
    • Anti Scl-70 (topoisomerase I)
    • Anti-Jo

  • Anti-gp-210 (nuclear pore gp-210)
  • Anti-p62 (Nucleoporin 62)
  • Anti-dsDNA (double-stranded DNA)
  • Anti-centromere

znaci ostaje mi da uradim antifosfolipidna, lupus antikoagulans i antimikrozomalna At???

-Centromere B-Centromere protein B is an autoantigen protein of the cell nucleus. A mutation in this gene can result in a greater chance of having lung cancer.
Ovo bi mogla biti antinuklearna antitijela.

-SS-B/La- Autoantibodies from systemic rheumatic disorders have becomeuseful reagents in molecular biology. SS-B/La,

beenidentified as a 46 kDa protein component of a

Jel' isto nije pronadjen uzrok? Ne sumnjaju ninasta?

evo me, Orli,malo kasnim
Imala sam missed i tri biohemijske

-autoimuna antitela
antinuklearna,antifosfolipidna(sa antikardiolipinskim), antimikrozomalna,antitiroglobulinska,cirkulisuci imuno kompleksi

-trombofilije(protrombinsko vreme,aPtt,trombinsko vreme,faktor V, faktor I,fibrinoliza, LAC s,LAC c,protein C,AT III) i lupus antikoagulans

a onda posle jos 5 dana (dakle negde 26 dpo) beta je pala na 18! i sutradan sam dobila!

sta je sad to-biohemijska?
